In a shocking turn of events, Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, finds itself at the center of a harrowing case of child sexual abuse. A routine medical visit has unearthed a distressing tale of exploitation, leaving a community reeling and authorities scrambling to deliver justice.

What began as a trip to the district hospital for severe abdominal pain quickly evolved into a nightmarish revelation for a local family. Medical staff, upon examining the 17-year-old patient, discovered that her discomfort stemmed not from a common ailment, but from an advanced pregnancy. This startling diagnosis set in motion a series of events that would expose a months-long ordeal of sexual violence.

Victim's Testimony Paints a Picture

Upon questioning by law enforcement, the young victim recounted a horrifying narrative of repeated abductions and assaults. According to her statement, multiple perpetrators from her neighbourhood had been subjecting her to sexual abuse for approximately five months. The assailants allegedly used threats and intimidation to ensure her silence, leaving the teenager trapped in a cycle of fear and trauma.

Shikarapura Police Station in-charge Kamal Singh Panwar reported, "We received information from the district hospital police outpost about a minor girl being admitted with complaints of dizziness and stomach pain. However, medical examination revealed that she was 5 months pregnant."

Investigation Reveals Disturbing Details

As the investigation unfolded, a pattern of calculated abuse emerged. The victim described being taken from her home in a four-wheeled vehicle to a brick kiln owned by one of the accused, where the assaults would take place. The perpetrators' threats of retaliation kept the young girl from confiding in her family, allowing the abuse to continue undetected for months.

In response to the victim's testimony, local authorities have moved quickly to apprehend the alleged perpetrators. Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the gang rape, and a case has been registered under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
