Stepfather rapes girl; Sister pressurized her to remain silent citing insult in Ghaziabad

In a gut-wrenching crime that has come to light in Ghaziabad, a girl was raped by her stepfather. Mussoorie Police has filed a case against the doctor in a year-old incident. According to the the girl, her elder sister works with the accused. However, when she narrated the incident, victim's sister asked her to keep quiet. 

Accused used to take care of expenses

Among the five siblings, his elder sister works for Dr. Pramod Kumar Bansal, who lives in Sumedha Tower, P&T Colony, Rajnagar since the year 2018. During this time, his sister and Dr. Pramod came closer. The sister said that Dr. Pramod will take care of the family's expenses and will play the role of a father in the family. The girl says that due to being an orphan, all the brothers and sisters accepted her as her father and started addressing her as Daddy.

Sister pressurized her to remain silent

The incident took place on April 12, 2023 at around 6 pm. When her sister took the victim to accused house located in village Matiyala. The accused who have been identified as Dr. Pramod was already there and was drinking. The girl alleges that during this time he came inside, closed the door and started doing obscene acts with her. However, the accused raped her and when she told about the incident to her sister. She pressuirized her to remain silent citing insult. 

No action from police

The girl says that she lodged a complaint at Nasirpur Chauchi of Sihani Gate police station, but no action was taken. On finding out otherwise, Dr. Pramod threatened to kill his younger brother. After this she lodged a complaint at Sihani Gate police station but from there the police brought her to Mussoorie police station. Instead of taking action, Mussoorie Police instead accused her of creating a false case of rape to extort money. Losing her suspicion, the girl complained to the Police Commissioner and requested for action, only then the Mussoorie Police registered a case.
