During that time the children had told their neighbor about the misbehavior on behalf of their father. At that time the mother of the children had gone to attend the funeral of their sister. The court held the stepfather guilty on the basis of medical evidence and witnesses.A similar case came up in Pune tooRecently, a case of rape of a 13-year-old girl was also reported from Pune. There were allegations that the girls father, uncle and a cousin brother repeatedly raped and threatened her. According to a TOI report, a police officer had told that the teenager had told about it during a session in school. All three accused were arrested.
