This inscription serves as a commemoration of the significant milestone in the construction of the temple. The craftsman behind these extraordinary bricks is Atul Kumar Singh, the owner of the Shri Ram Brick Kiln. The Singh family has been in the business of brick-making for generations, and their legacy is intertwined with the history of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. In fact, Atul Kumar Singhs grandfather, Vasudev Narayan Singh, was one of the contributors of bricks for the original Ram temple in Ayodhya back in the 16th century.जय श्री रामJai Shri Ramश्री राम जन्मभूमि मंदिर गर्भगृह – आरती दर्शनShri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Garbha Gruh – Aarati Darshan pic.twitter.com/xGqRMH36Lz— Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra (@ShriRamTeerth) October 5, 2023 Atul Kumar Singh expressed his connection to the legacy of the temple and the bricks. He mentioned, “When I visited the Ram Mandir to gather information about the special bricks named Shri Ram 2023, I discovered that the bricks used here were demolished along with the disputed structure in 1992. Those bricks were also found with the initials VNS, which were in the name of our grandfather Vasudev Narayan Singh. Today, as the construction work of the temple progresses, we wish to contribute in a manner reminiscent of our ancestors.”He went on to explain the exceptional qualities of these bricks, “For this purpose, a special machine was used to fortify the soil. A dedicated team was employed to prepare the soil for brick-making. Prior to their use in construction, these bricks underwent rigorous lab testing, proving to be twice as strong as standard bricks. Furthermore, they are being inscribed with the name Shri Ram 2023.”11 Upcoming Grand Hindu Mandirs currently under construction1.
