Tripura Crime News: In a shocking and horrifying incident, two sons in Tripura committed an unspeakable act of brutality against their elderly mother, leaving the entire community in disbelief. The gruesome incident occurred late Saturday night in the Champaknagar area of West Tripura. The sons, after a heated argument with their 62-year-old mother, tied her to a tree, doused her with petrol, and set her on fire, watching as she screamed for help, showing no mercy. The elderly woman, a widow who lost her husband last year, lived with her two sons in the small village of Khamarbari. According to local police, the altercation that led to this heinous act escalated after an argument between the woman and her sons. In a fit of rage, the two men began beating their mother inside their home before dragging her outside into the darkness. Unbeknownst to the villagers, they tied her to a tree and continued their vicious assault before finally burning her alive. Neighbors, hearing the screams, rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the flames, but it was too late. Both sons were arrested and are currently under investigation.
