Singer Sona Mohapatra criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday for his recent comments criticizing Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai and Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya last month. Gandhi questioned the presence of certain individuals at the event, insinuating their disconnect from the broader population. Television channels only show Aishwarya Rai dancing. They dont show anything about the poor people, Rahul Gandhi said in one of the speeches. It is to be noted here that Aishwarya Rai was not present at the consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. However, her husband Abhishek Bachchan and actor Amitabh Bachchan were present.
