Shoeb beaten to death after communal violence erupts in cricket match | WATCH

The violence happen when Gheto Parmar and Holo Parmar attacked Shoeb, a friend of Salman. Salman tried to save Shoeb from the attackers but he was brutally beaten with bats, sticks, and paddles. The police has arrested individuals who were involved in the murder.

New Delhi: Salman Hanifbhai Whora, a young man who attended a cricket tournament's final match, was beaten to death by a group of 15 to 20 men on Saturday. The police was rushed to the scene and the body of the victim was shifted to Karamsad Hospital for post-mortem. The violence occured when two men identified as Gheto Parmar and Holo Parmar attacked Shoeb, a friend of Salman. Salman tried to save Shoeb from the attackers but he was brutally beaten with bats, sticks and pads. 

Police officials seize bamboo sticks, pads 

The police has arrested some individuals who were involved in the murder. Mehul Alias Gheto Parmar, Kiran Alias Holo Mafatbhai Parmar, Mahendra Alias and Fulio Rameshbhai Vaghela were taken into custody for their direct involvement in the crime.

Additionaly the police apprehended Akshay Alias Ako Naringhbhai Parmar, Ratilal Mangalbhai Parmar and Ketan Mahendrabhai Patel. All of the accused are residents of Chikhodara except Ketan, who is from Vaghasi. 

Court grant remand 

The police seized the paddles, bamboo sticks and other weapons used in the attack and produced the accused in court, The court has granted of all the accused until July 1, allowing the police to continue with their investigation.
