Cash on HC Judge's House: A video of cash found inside the house of Justice Yashwant Verma of Delhi High Court has surfaced. In which bundles of notes are seen burning. This video was shot by Delhi Police. The Supreme Court has uploaded it on its website. Documents related to this case have also been put on the website. Burning Cash Scandal
A fire broke out at Justice Yashwant Verma's house in Lutyens' Delhi on the night of Holi on March 14 at around 11:35 pm. A team of firefighters reached the spot to douse the fire. A large amount of bundles of currency notes were recovered there. The report released with the video said that 4-5 half-burnt sacks were recovered from the room of the house where the fire broke out, and remnants of Indian currency were also found inside them.
