A passenger on an Indigo flight 6E-5319 from Mumbai to Guwahati was reported to have sexually abused another passenger. IndiGo later turned over the passenger to the Guwahati police upon arrival.The official statement According to a statement from IndiGo, the complainant has filed an FIR with the local police, and the airline will help with the investigation as needed. However, the airline chose not to provide any detailed information regarding the occurrence.The airline said, “A passenger travelling on (IndiGo flight) 6E- 5319 between Mumbai and Guwahati was handed over to the Guwahati police on arrival, after receiving a complaint from another passenger for alleged sexual harassment.”An FIR has been filed by the complainant with the local police, and “we will provide assistance in their investigation, where required.” The victim recollects The victim recalled she was asleep and woke up to see the armrest lifted and the man leaning close to her. Concerned about her safety, she faked being asleep out of concern for her safety and hoped the man would go away.However, the woman said that he nevertheless groped her. After that, she quickly informed the cabin crew.
