In a shocking turn of events, a minor girl from Lakhimpur Kheri's Dhaurahra Kotwali area recounts a harrowing ordeal where she was held captive and subjected to brutality by her alleged lover. The incident, which occurred on April 19, saw the girl enduring three days of captivity and abuse. The victim tearfully recounts how her refusal to engage in conversation led to her lover scarring her cheek with a heated iron rod. Despite her cries of pain, the accused persisted, inscribing his name on her face using the searing metal, fueled by a lighter.
The girl's father reveals the distressing details of his daughter's captivity, stating that she was confined and subjected to violence for three agonizing days. He recounts how she had ventured out to buy household items but was forcibly detained by her captor.
After three days of captivity, the girl managed to escape and return home, where she divulged the traumatic events to her family. However, despite the severity of her ordeal, the police report fails to adequately document the extent of her suffering.
While the police are now initiating an investigation into the matter, discrepancies emerge regarding the sections of the law invoked in the case. The girl alleges that her captor tattooed her cheek with the initial letter of her name.
Further complicating the situation, it is revealed that both the victim and the accused belong to the same locality but hail from different communities. The unfolding investigation aims to unravel the complexities of their relationship and the events leading up to the assault. As the Kotwali police delve deeper into the case, action will be taken based on the findings of the FIR and subsequent investigation.
