In a harrowing incident reported from New Delhi, a father has been accused of slitting his daughters throat and abandoning her body on a farm in Rohinis Kanjhawala area. The tragic event unfolded because the daughter expressed a desire to marry someone outside of her caste, against her familys wishes. Deputy Commissioner of Police Guriqbal Singh Sidhu confirmed the arrest of the 46-year-old suspect following reports on Sunday evening.Police received the distressing report at 8:53 PM and immediately rushed to the scene in Chandpur village, where they found the young woman lying in a pool of blood with severe neck and abdomen injuries. Despite immediate medical attention, she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.Investigation reveals truthPolice investigations revealed that the father and daughter were tracked through the registration number of the taxi they used. Technical evidence led to the identification of the victim and her father. The father was arrested early Monday morning after confessing to the crime.Tragic turn of eventsAccording to police statements, the father had picked up his daughter from her brothers residence in Narela. During the journey home, a heated argument erupted between them. They diverted their taxi to Kanjhawala, where the father allegedly carried out the brutal act on a nearby farm.
