Following standard procedures, the body was sent for post-mortem examination to gather crucial forensic evidence.Officials familiar with the case revealed that the tragic incident occurred on Friday, stemming from a dispute between the couple over personal matters. The suspect, identified as Sukhdev Singh, employed as a laborer, was promptly apprehended by police forces.Beas station house officer (SHO) Gurwinder Singh stated that Sukhdev would exhaust his modest earnings as a labourer on indulging in his costly hobby of raising carrier pigeons, despite his wifes objections.It took some time for the villagers to comprehend why smoke was emanating from the house as it was situated on the outskirts. Unaware that Sukhdevs pregnant wifes body was ablaze, they initially mistook it for burning straw. Sukhdev and Pinki had tied the knot approximately two years and six months ago, and Pinki was six months pregnant at the time of the incident. The SHO asserted, Police set up a trap, apprehended Sukhdev Singh, and dispatched the body for a post-mortem examination.The victim, identified as 23-year-old Pinki, tragically lost her life in the altercation, leaving behind a grieving community and family. Authorities have commenced a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding this heinous crime, with the aim of delivering justice and understanding the motives behind this tragic loss of life.
