On Monday, while returning from a modeling assignment in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, a 17-year-old model was allegedly sexually assaulted by three males in a hotel room. According to police, one of the accused knew the survivor, and he offered to drive her from New Delhi to Moradabad.More on the covicts The names of the defendants are Waseem (also known as Sonu), Anil, and Bharat Singh. They were all natives of Ghaziabad. The survivor knew one of the accused. The girl told police that she was reportedly drugged by three companions in their car, stated Investigating Officer Usha Malik, and she knew one of them, who provided her a trip from Delhi to Moradabad, according to reports.The police give out statementAccording to the police, they allegedly took turns raping her in the hotel room in Moradabad after she was allegedly raped in the moving vehicle. After completing a modeling assignment in Jaipur, the girl, who is from Sambhal, proceeded to Dhaula Kuan in Delhi to wait for a bus back home. Malik said, that one of the accused approached the victim and offered to give her a ride in their automobile when she was waiting for a bus at Dhaula Kuan station. She consented without hesitation because she knew the man, and they got into the automobile. The police have detained all three of the accused. A case has been filed under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act of 2012 (POCSO), the SC/ST Act, and other sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
