In fact, Congress leader Shama Mohammed had tweeted on Instagram - "Rohit is fat for a player! Needs to lose weight! And he is the most disappointing captain India has ever had!"

After calling Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma a fat and bad captain, Shama Mohammed has now clarified that she did not intend to insult anyone. Talking to news agency  she said, "The purpose of my tweet was not to insult anyone. Through the tweet, I said that as a player, Rohit is overweight. I have not done any body shaming. Nor is this body shaming. I had said that he is a captain who does not have much influence. I had compared him with other captains. When Virat Kohli was with Mohammed Shami, BJP leaders targeted him. Why did BJP leaders target him?"
