Seema Haider calls for legal action against woman who called Sachin ‘Lappu, Jhingur’

Days after a video that got viral on social media calling Sachin ‘Lappu, Jhingur’ by Pakistani national Seema Haider’s neighbour, her lawyer warned the neighbour of defamation case.

Mithilesh Bhati, Sachin’s neighbour in Noida, called Sachin ‘Lappu’ and ‘Jhingur’ in the video that surfaced on social media and hooked the audiences. Mithilesh became talk of the town and gained traction on social media for her remarks, during an TV channel interview. The rant got viral when Yashraj Mukhate composed a peppy track featuring the same.

Now, AP Singh, Seema Haider’s lawyer is all set to take a legal action against the woman. The lawyer asserted that the remarks came as insult to every man in the diverse country like India. He said, “In a diverse country like ours, insults based on skin colour and physical attributes will not be tolerated. We are planning to take legal action against the woman.”

In response to this, Mithilesh said that she was angry, and the words slipped out of her mouth and the words she used are very commonly used informal words in conversations. She asserted that she has not insulted anyone.

For the uninformed, Seema Haider is a Pakistani national who entered India illegally to live with Sachin.
