New Delhi: Jaipur airport authorities found themselves on high alert once again as a threatening email regarding a potential bomb attack was received, echoing a similar incident just over a month ago. Security agencies swiftly responded to the ominous message, intensifying security measures across the airport premises.

Bomb disposal squads, accompanied by canine units and Quick Response Teams (QRT), meticulously conducted thorough inspections throughout the airport. From the main terminal building to parking areas and apron zones, every corner was scrutinized to ensure the safety of passengers and staff.

ACP Sanjay Sharma of Malviya Nagar confirmed the receipt of the bomb threat via email around 12:30 pm. While the possibility of it being a mock drill hasn’t been ruled out, conclusive remarks await the outcome of a detailed investigation. Subsequent to the threat, an extensive search operation ensued, encompassing stringent screenings of both passengers and luggage.
