Recently, Muskan's father Pramod Rastogi had said that his daughter was addicted to drugs. Apart from Muskan, her boyfriend Sahil Shukla is also being questioned in this case. Saurabh's body was found in pieces in a drum filled with cement.

According to the report of News18, Saurabh's brother claims that Muskan's dream was to become a film star. He has told that due to her desire to become a star, she had run away from home earlier also and it had come to the point of divorce. Also, due to this there used to be domestic disputes. The special thing is that Muskan and Saurabh also have a 6-year-old daughter.
Muskaan was addicted to marijuana
According to media reports, it is being claimed that Muskaan was also addicted to marijuana, which she got because of Sahil. Sahil used to consume drugs every day and allegedly this habit of his made Muskaan addicted to drugs as well. It is being said that due to this, Muskaan got trapped in the relationship and it became difficult for her to get out of it.There are reports that Muskan had mixed some intoxicating drugs in her husband's food. Drugs angle in the murder
Talking to India Today, Muskan's father Pramod Rastogi said that his daughter had told him that Saurabh does not allow her to take drugs and that is why he killed her. He said, 'She had told me that she cannot live without drugs.' He has demanded death penalty for his daughter. He also said that she has no right to live.
Muskan Rastogi's Bollywood Dreams
At present, the investigation is going on and the reason for the murder is not clear. The police is investigating all the angles like illicit relationship, financial motive, drugs, black magic and desire to become a film star. According to the police, Muskan and her lover Sahil Shukla have confessed to stabbing Saurabh to death on March 4. After the murder, both of them cut his body, put the remains in a drum and sealed it with cement. Both were arrested on Tuesday and sent to 14-day judicial custody on Wednesday.
Muskan used fake snap chat ID
According to some police sources Muskan went to her family on March 18 and told her parents about the murder. After this, the parents took her to the police. After this a case was registered.
Additional Superintendent of Policeconfirmed that Muskan had been planning to murder Saurabh since November 2023. He also said that Sahil is superstitious and Muskan had taken advantage of this to create a fake Snapchat ID using the name of Sahil's dead mother.
