An altercation broke out between Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers on Wednesday at the polling booth of Raiganj. The video surfaced on social media shows the workers getting involved in scuffle. Manas Kumar Ghosh is the candidate of BJP and Krishna Kalyani is the TMC candidate from the Raiganj assembly seat in the by-election.Police intervened and controlled the situation. Voting for the by-polls will start at 7 am and go until 6 pm. West Bengal is going under by-elections on four assembly seats. The seats are in the districts of Uttar Dinajpur, Bagdah in North 24 Parganas, Ranaghat Dakshin, and Maniktala in Kolkata.
