New Delhi: In a tragic incident that unfolded late Friday night, a man named Arjun died from cardiac arrest while trying to save his girlfriend after she attempted suicide. According to reports, the couple had an argument earlier in the day, which escalated when the woman also fought with one of Arjuns relatives before returning to her home.Suicide attempt and disturbing videoAt around 11:30 pm, the woman reportedly slit her wrist and recorded a video of the act, sending it to Arjun via WhatsApp. Shocked and panicked by what he saw, Arjun immediately reached out to the womans mother for help. Without wasting time, he rushed to her residence and then took her to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital at around 2:45 am.Arjuns tragic collapseUpon arriving at the hospital, Arjun explained the situation to a nurse, but shortly after looking at his girlfriend, he collapsed. The medical staff tried to resuscitate him while simultaneously treating the woman for her self-inflicted wound.Last words of sacrificeThough the doctors successfully stopped the womans bleeding, Arjun tragically passed away from cardiac arrest. His reported last words were, “Save her... she will die,” highlighting his concern for his girlfriend even in his final moments.Arjuns body was handed over to his family after an autopsy. Meanwhile, the girlfriend is recuperating and is expected to survive. Medical professionals have confirmed that she is undergoing counseling to help her recover from the trauma.
