Saurabh Murder Case: Pregnant Muskan Gets Diet Change, Special Facilities in Jail

Meerut : Muskan and Sahil Shukla, accused in the Saurabh murder case that has become a national sensation, are in jail. Muskan's diet plan has been released as she is pregnant. Fruits have also been included in Muskan's diet chart. Medicines for calcium, vitamin D, potassium have also been started.

On March 3, Muskan along with her lover Sahil Shukla killed her husband Saurabh Rajput. The body was stuffed in a big plastic drum and was frozen with cement solution. The next day on March 4, both of them left for Shimla. When they returned on March 17, Muskan informed her parents about Saurabh's murder. On March 18, based on Muskan's statement, the police arrested Sahil as well.

Muskan granted new diet

On 19 March, both were presented in the court, from where they were sent to jail. In the jail, Muskan's health suddenly started deteriorating. On April 5, after Muskan complained of vomiting and dizziness, the jail administration wrote a letter to the CMO and demanded a gynecologist. On April 7, a lady doctor checked Muskan inside the jail itself. The lady doctor asked to get Muskan's ultrasound done.

Confirmed to be six weeks pregnant
On April 11, Muskaan was brought to Lala Lajpat Rai Medical College from the jail under tight security, where it was confirmed that she was four to six weeks pregnant. After the ultrasound report, the diet for pregnant women was prescribed. Apart from some fruits, diet containing iron and protein has also started being provided. Special care is being taken to ensure that there is no deficiency of calcium, vitamin D and potassium. Every week a woman doctor will come to the jail to check on the health of both. The diet included in the jail manual is being followed.

We will see after the DNA test 
Saurabh's family said that they will accept the child only after the DNA test. That too, only if the child is Saurabh's. However, they are considering the child growing in Muskan's womb as her lover Sahil's, while Muskan's parents said that she is dead for them. They don't need Muskan's child. They will only raise Muskan's daughter Pihu as their own child.
