New Delhi: In a shocking revelation, the mother of a 12-year-old girl who was gang raped in Ayodhya has accused local Samajwadi Party leaders of offering her money to drop the complaint against the alleged perpetrators. Speaking to media persons, she claimed that Mohammed Rashid, the Samajwadi Partys Bhadarsa Nagar Panchayat Chairman, offered her money to settle the case.The incident came to light on July 30, when police arrested local Samajwadi Party leader Moid Khan and his employee, Raju Khan, for the alleged gang rape of the girl. Moid Khan, who owns a bakery in Bhadarsa Nagar, and his employees are accused of assaulting and impregnating the young girl, who worked at the bakery. Moid Khan is behind this crime. Our daughter used to work in a bakery. The girls mother has also requested financial assistance from the government. Meanwhile, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Vishwanath Pal, who visited the family, reported that the mother had been pressured to compromise. Some people were asking her to make a compromise in the case.
