Maharshtra: While the IPL hogs all the limelight, another thrilling sporting event was witnessed in Mumbai on Saturday and saw some A-listers from Bollywood and politics making an appearance. BJP MP Anurag Singh Thakur organized a friendly T20 cricket match at the MCA Cricket Stadium in Mumbai, which was done to create awareness about the TB Mukt Bharat campaign. The encounter featured the Leaders XI, skippered by Anurag Thakur, against the Actors XI, captained by Suniel Shetty.
The occasion was also graced by a number of high-profile guests like Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, actor Salman Khan, MPs Supriya Sule, Arvind Sawant, and retired MP Pritam Munde.

The Deputy CM then takes Salman's arm and invites him to sit next to him, contributing to the light moment. Actor Arjun Kapoor, who was in attendance at the event, enjoying it and stated, "Entertainment, politics, and sports are the pillars to get any kind of message across. So, it feels great that all of us can come together for such an important medical cause.".
Actor Arjun Rampal, also, was there. He stated, according to a report, "I think the initiative is good. It is a very significant initiative by the Prime Minister. Anurag Thakur told me that 28% of our population has been victimized by TB. So, it is very important to make people aware of this. I hope the message goes to all, and we are able to fulfill the dream of a TB-free India by 2025."
