Crime News: In a shocking revelation from Lucknow, a 25-year-old woman from Khurram Nagar has come forward with disturbing allegations against a man she claims deceived her under the alias of ‘Rakesh’. The accused, identified as Salman, allegedly engaged in a deceitful relationship with the woman starting in 2016 when she was just 17 years old. According to her statement to the police, Salman coerced her into physical relations, resulting in multiple unwanted pregnancies. She further alleges that Salman forced her to undergo three abortions against her will using medication.
The situation escalated when Salman purportedly pressured the victim into marriage, only to divorce her soon after. Shockingly, he allegedly arranged for a Halala—a practice where a woman remarries and divorces another man before being able to remarry her former spouse—conducted by a Maulvi at her in-laws’ residence.
The woman also claims Salman and his sister forcibly fed her meat, against her dietary preferences, and subjected her to physical abuse. She is a mother of three children—Ali (5), Ayan (3), and a newborn named Chahat—whom Salman allegedly took custody of after throwing her out of their shared home. According to her, he now prevents her from seeing her children and has threatened to sell them in Nepal if she does not convert to Islam.
Adding to the complexity of the case, the victim has accused Salman’s friend Asim Khan, a review officer at the Vidhan Sabha, of also subjecting her to unwanted physical relations.
Confirming the filing of a case, Joint Commissioner Amit Verma stated that initial charges have been brought against Salman, with further legal action pending investigation. He emphasized the seriousness of the allegations and assured that the police would thoroughly investigate the matter to ensure justice for the victim.
