Sabke Ram: The eagerly anticipated ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is set to be a grand event with prominent dignitaries from around the world in attendance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is poised to preside over the ceremony, following an 11-day ‘anushthan’ or special ritual, involving austere practices such as sleeping on the floor and consuming coconut water.
PM Modi has been intricately linked with the Ram Temple movement since 1990 and played a pivotal role in overseeing the Rath Yatra of former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani. The construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has been a central focus of the BJP’s electoral agenda since its inception in 1990.
