Sabke Ram: As the countdown begins for the highly anticipated consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday released commemorative postage stamps on the temple and a book with stamps dedicated to Lord Ram from around the world.

PM Modi releases commemorative postage stamps on Lord Ram

Speaking about the launch of the stamps, PM Modi said, “Today, I got the opportunity to attend another event organized by Shri Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Abhiyan. Today, 6 Commemorative Postage Stamps on Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir and an album of stamps issued on Lord Ram around the world have been released. I want to congratulate the people of the country and all Ram Bhakts across the world."

Commemorative Postage Stamps specifications:

The unique new stamp book titled 'Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, Ayodhya showcases the global significance of Lord Ram through philatelic collections. The 48-page book features over 20 stamps on Ram and Ayodhya from various countries like the US, Canada, Singapore, and UN bodies.

It includes depictions of key temple elements - the Saryu river, sculptures, the 'Mangal Bhavan' chant, and more. Six commemorative Indian stamps highlight figures related to Ram's life - the temple, Lord Ganesh, Hanuman, Jatayu, Kevatraj, and Ma Shabri.

Intricate gold leaf details add grandeur to the poster. The book aims to mark the inauguration of the long-awaited Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22.

Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha

PM Modi will attend the historic 'Pran Pratishtha' consecration event as chief guest along with over 7,000 other dignitaries.

Meanwhile, the idol of Ram Lalla has been installed in the heart of the temple. 

The special philatelic release celebrates the shared cultural heritage linked to Lord Ram across the world. It makes for a unique collectible for devotees and philatelists on the momentous temple opening.
