An NRI from Vadodara has funded the installation of what is being called the "largest floating LED screen" on the Saryu Ghat in Ayodhya. The massive display will livestream the consecration of the Ram Mandir on January 22.
Jignesh Mehta, director of Century Hospitality, is sponsoring the state-of-the-art screen as a novel way for devotees to witness the historic ceremony. His company has constructed India's largest floating LED display, measuring 16 feet tall and 69 feet wide.
The giant screen is being mounted on a specially designed catamaran-shaped boat at Ayodhya Ghat. Expert artisans were brought in to build the innovative floating platform under the guidance of the Indian Registrar of Shipping.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the high-tech screen on Friday ahead of the temple consecration. Mehta stated that after the event, the LED display will continue screening devotional content, advertisements, and informative messages for visitors at Saryu Ghat.
The ambitious project demonstrates how technology is being utilized to allow global participation in the Ram Mandir celebrations through an eye-catching floating theater on the holy Saryu River.
“We have engaged expert artisans from South India to build the boat. In the days after the Ram Temple consecration, devotees will be able to have a live darshan of Lord Ram from Saryu Ghat. The screen will also telecast advertisements and other useful information. Machinery and equipment have been brought in specially for the project,” he said.
