Veteran actors Rakesh Bedi and Vindu Dara Singh are set to participate in a special Ramleela performance in Ayodhya leading up to the consecration of the new Ram Mandir.

Actor Rakesh Bedi, Vindu Dara Singh to participate in Ramleela

In an interview with ANI, Vindu Dara Singh revealed he will play the role of Lord Shiva in the religious play. The actors expressed pride in being part of the historic production in Ayodhya before the long-awaited temple ceremony on January 22.

Vindu Dara Singh spoke to ANI and said, "I have been invited to perform 'Ramleela' in Ayodhya from January 16 to January 22. I am playing the role of Lord Shiva. Ayodhya will become the world's top pilgrimage site. It is said that Satyayuga is coming even within Kaliyuga, this is happening. This is our Ram ji. Modi ji and Yogi ji are doing so much work and serving the country."

Rakesh Bedi, on his part, said, "A lot of changes will take place after the construction of the airport. Wherever the airport is built, development automatically starts very fast."

The Uttar Pradesh government has organized 18 different Ramleela troupes from India and abroad to showcase in the holy city. Performers from Nepal, Cambodia, Singapore, Indonesia, and other countries have been invited to participate.

The week-long rituals commenced on January 16. Over 7,000 dignitaries are expected at the consecration event, including celebrities, cricketers, and business leaders.

The Ramleela performances aim to showcase India's great epic and cultural heritage on the momentous occasion. The actors hope to entertain devotees and dignitaries flocking to witness the consecration of the new Ram Mandir.
