Ruckus at mega rally of Rahul Gandhi-Akhilesh Yadav, workers break through barricades; Several injured

There was a huge uproar in the meeting of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and SP President Akhilesh Yadav in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. During this the crowd went out of control. The crowd broke the barricades installed around the stage. During this, a stampede-like atmosphere was seen at the rally venue.

What happened exactly? 

As soon as both the leaders arrived, the workers became uncontrollable and reached the leaders' stage. The uproar was so huge that Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav left the spot without giving any speech. A joint public meeting of Rahul and Akhilesh was to be held at Phulpur Lok Sabha seat. Several people also got injured in the uproar.

Along with this, the camera stands of media personnel were also broken. Earlier, there was a ruckus in the meeting of I.N.D.I.A Block in Ranchi also, in which workers of two groups clashed with each other and there was a fierce scuffle.
