In a shocking incident that terrified Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday morning, miscreants targeted the residence of retired IAS officer DN Dubey in broad daylight. However, When his wife protested, the officer's wife was fatally strangled. As soon as the information was received, there was panic in the police department. The police team immediately reached the spot and started investigating the case.
In fact, 71-year-old retired IAS officer DN Dubey, who has been DM in many districts including Rae Bareli and Divisional Commissioner in Allahabad, lives in Sector-22 of Indiranagar police station area of Lucknow. When he returned after playing golf on Saturday morning, everything in the house was scattered. The body of his wife Mohini was lying on the floor. A noose was tied around his neck. He immediately informed the police.
Forensic team and dog squad have also been called on the spot. Also, CCTV footage present in the surrounding area is being scrutinized. The police have registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem and are interrogating the people nearby.
