Retired IAS Officer's wife violated, threatened by stepson, aide; Probe on

In one such shocking incident, an ex-IAS officer's wife alleged being sexually assaulted by her stepson and his aide. The alleged incident took place at their house in Jammu and Kashmir, as per the police statement.

The horrific crime in pursuit

The woman victim is said to be in her 40s and she also accused her husband's family of harassing her for dowry. The incident was reported and the case was registered by Gazipur police in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. The victim claimed that she was held as a hostage at home and was released after giving a written letter saying that she wouldn't register any complaints against her husband and stepson.

The woman is said to be an orphan and was married to the retired IAS officer of Jammu and Kashmir back in 2020. In her ordeal, she alleged that her husband's first wife, her son and daughter, and other family members were harassing her for dowry. As per claims, she was held hostage at the house and was released only after giving in writing that she would not file any complaint against her husband and stepson. As per her statement, her husband harassed her over the years; she said that she was captured in a room from April 11–14. She added that she was even starving.
