New Delhi: In a dramatic turn of events, new CCTV footage has surfaced in the investigation of Renukaswamys murder, implicating Kannada film star Darshan Thoogudeepa and his wife, Pavithra Gowda. The footage, captured at a toll plaza in Karnatakas Chitradurga, reveals a white car suspected of transporting Renukaswamy from Chitradurga to Bengaluru.Renukaswamy, a fan of Darshan, was allegedly abducted under the guise of arranging a meeting with the actor. Initially, Renukaswamy was seen being ferried in an auto rickshaw before being transferred to the white car. The vehicle, it turns out, was rented for this purpose.On June 11, Darshan and his wife were arrested after the discovery of Renukaswamys body in a stormwater drain at Kamakshipalya. Among those implicated is Nagaraj, Darshans aide, who managed the actors dealings and his farmhouse in Mysuru.
