A day after his ban from serving in the Lok Sabha was reinstated as a result of a Supreme Court order, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was given the 12, Tughlaq Lane house again.

According to the sources, the Lok Sabha House Committee has agreed to give him the same bungalow he was requested to leave when Gandhi was expelled from the lower house on March 24 as a result of his conviction and the two-year prison sentence in the defamation case in ‘Modi surname.’

When being asked about the allotment of the Tughlaq Bangalow house once again by the media persons, Rahul Gandhi said, “Mera ghar pura Hindustan hai (The whole country is my home).” He has arrived at the AICC Headquarters for a meeting with the leaders of the Assam Congress.

Following a Surat court’s conviction in the defamation case, Rahul Gandhi vacated his official residence in central Delhi in April as a part of protocol, after his disqualification as an MP in March.
