After several of her photos went viral on social media, it was revealed that fake profiles using her name were being used to ask for money from unsuspecting individuals. Harsha herself alerted her followers to the issue through an Instagram video, raising awareness about the fraudulent activity.
Harsha took to Instagram to address the growing issue, explaining that fake accounts bearing her name were reaching out to people, requesting money. In her video, she clarified, "I only use one account, and all other profiles are fake. If you receive any messages, QR codes, or donation requests from an account pretending to be me, please report it immediately."
In the caption accompanying her video, Harsha urged her followers to take immediate action if they encountered any scams. She said, "If anyone is asking for money using my name, please report it and send me the screenshot. We can send these fraudsters to jail and teach them a lesson." Harsha emphasized that the ongoing scam was causing her significant distress and called for everyone to take such matters seriously.
Harsha made it clear that she was taking the matter seriously and intended to take legal action against those misusing her identity. By working with the authorities, Harsha hopes to ensure that the individuals behind these fraudulent activities are held accountable for their actions.
