Rear Admiral Arjun Dev Nair has now taken charge as the new commandant of the Naval War College (NWC) in Goa, an official release said.Before taking charge of the Naval War College on Monday, Rear Admiral Sanjay Bhalla served as Assistant Chief of Naval Staff for Staff Requirements at Naval Headquarters in New Delhi.Further, he is also an alumnus of the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, and the National Defence College in the national capital.In his 30 years of career, he devoted his life towards serving the nation. Admiral Nair has commanded Ships Trikand, Kirpan and Nashak.Notably, the flag officer has held important appointments such as Assistant Chief of Personnel (Administration and Civilian), Principal Director (Training) at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala and also the Fleet Operations Officer of the Western Fleet.
