A ghastly incident of sexual assault has come into the spotlight from the Kharsidag OP area in Ranchi, Jharkhand in which the wife of an Indian Army personnel posted in the Leh district of Ladakh was allegedly gang-raped by four assailants. The matter was disclosed after the army jawans wife filed a complaint in which she mentioned that four men barged inside her house on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday and raped her in turns. Had shifted 15 days agoThe woman told the police that she had shifted to the new house only 15 days ago and was unaware of the identity of the rapists. She was asleep with her two kids in the house located in the Kharsidag OP area when the alleged assaulters entered forcefully and raped her by holding her hostage. They threatened to kill her when she resisted. Investigation underwayAs soon as the information reached the police, the Superintendent of Police and Deputy Superintendent of Police along with other officers reached the victims house. The victim then narrated the whole story, pleading for justice. At present the police has initiated a manhunt to grab all the criminals who are currently fleeing. Medical examination of the woman has been done.
