The voting for four Rajya Sabha seats from Karnataka took place on Tuesday, drawing attention to the critical role each MLA's vote plays in determining the outcome. Expressing dismay over Somashekar's actions, Doddanagouda G Patil stated that the party will take appropriate action in response to his decision.

Despite the setback, BJP MLA Basanagouda R Patil (Yatnal) maintained a composed stance and attributed the incident to occasional uncertainties within the political landscape.

Responding to the developments, Congress MLA Dinesh Gundu Rao criticized the BJP's tactics, highlighting the party's alleged disregard for ethical campaigning.
