Rajasthan police arrests 11 in 2022 forest guard exam paper leak

In a significant development, the Rajasthan Police's Special Operations Group (SOG) has arrested eleven individuals for their alleged involvement in the 2022 Forest Guard Recruitment Exam paper leak. The arrests highlight the ongoing efforts to address examination malpractices in the state.

Key Arrests Made

On June 28, the SOG apprehended Praveen Malviya and his wife, Savita Dodiyar, in Banswara. According to an official, during their interrogation, the couple disclosed that Sakan Singh Khadia had approached them to find individuals willing to pay Rs 8 lakh for the leaked question paper. Malviya and Dodiyar successfully recruited eight candidates prepared to make the payment.

The official statement confirmed that a total of eleven people have been arrested in connection with the case, and further investigations are underway.

CM Bhajanlal Sharma Conducts Surprise Inspection

Amid the ongoing investigation, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma conducted a surprise inspection of various projects on Saturday, focusing on transportation and health facilities for the general public.

During his visit to the Hirapura Bus Terminal on Ajmer Road, Sharma reviewed the arrangements and received detailed information from the officials. He emphasised the importance of providing basic amenities such as drinking water, shaded seating areas, and proper sanitation for passengers. The Chief Minister directed that these facilities be ready by August to ensure the smooth operation of bus services.
