Rajasthan man arrested for raping 52-year-old mother in drunken state

A shocking incident has emerged from Bundi district, where a 28-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping his 52-year-old mother while under the influence of alcohol. The incident occurred on Friday as the accused and his mother were returning home from a village, according to local police reports.

Mother Files Complaint Against Son

Following the assault, the victim, accompanied by her younger son and daughter, visited the Dabi Police Station to file a formal complaint. Law enforcement quickly apprehended the accused, who, during initial questioning, admitted to committing the heinous crime. He was later presented before a court, which ordered his remand to judicial custody.

Crime Occurred in an Isolated Area

According to police officials, the incident took place when the mother and son were walking back from the home of the victim’s brother. At an isolated location, the accused allegedly attacked and raped his mother. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Tarunkant Somani confirmed the arrest and noted that the investigation is ongoing.

"We have arrested the accused, and further inquiries are underway. The accused was presented in court and has been sent to judicial custody," DSP Somani stated.
