Almost a month after the election results were declared in Rajasthan, the swearing-in ceremony of the state cabinet took place on Saturday at the Raj Bhavan. Earlier in the day, the newly elected chief minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma met Governor Kalraj Mishra to seek approval for the cabinet’s expansion.

Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Kirodi Lal Meena, and Gajendra Singh Khinvsar took oath as Rajasthan cabinet ministers on Saturday.  Avinash Gehlot, Babulal Kharadi, Jogaram Patel, Madan Dilawar, Suresh Singh Rawat, Joraram Kumawat, Hemant Meena, Kanhaiya Lal Choudhary, and Sumit Godara are also among the 12 MLAs, who sworn in as ministers into the cabinet led by the Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

The Rajasthan Assembly Polls' result were announced on December 3, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) securing 115 seats out of 199 contested seats. 

Bhajanlal Sharma is a first-time MLA, who was officially declared as the chief minister of the state on December 12, with Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa appointed as vice chief ministers.
