Following the war of words in Lok Sabha on Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi hit out at BJP during the debate on the no-confidence motion in gave a flying kiss to the Member of Parliaments of BJP, when he left for his upcoming schedule session. This behaviour of Rahul Gandhi has again created a ruckus and taken him to the headlines.

Objecting to the same, BJP MPs have filed a complaint against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi calling it obscene in Parliament.

Referring to the behaviour of Rahul Gandhi, Union Minister Smriti Irani said, “Only a misogynistic man can give a flying kiss to women MPs in Parliament. Such an instance was never witnessed before. This shows what he thinks of women. This is obscene.” Her remarks came as Rahul Gandhi gave a flying kiss to BJP members in Parliament while leaving.

BJP, taking it to Twitter, mentioned, “Those who (Rahul Gandhi) were given the right to make a statement before me today did an indecent act while leaving. It can only be a misogynist person who can give flying kisses to women members of parliament in Parliament. Such disrespectful conduct has never been seen in the House of this country.”

Manipur is integral part of India: Smriti Irani

Union Minister Smriti Irani on Wednesday hit back at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s words on the no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha against the NDA government and said “You are not India, for India is not corrupt.”

“You are not India because you define corruption and dynastic politics. India believes in merit not in dynasty and today of all the days people like you need to remember what was told to the British – Quit India. Corruption Quit India and Dynasty Quit India. Merit now finds place in India,” Irani continued.

Responding to Rahul Gandhi’s comments on “You killed Bharat Mata in Manipur” (Bharat Mata ki hatya aapne Manipur mein ki), Irani fired back and said, “Entire country has seen Congress leaders clapping and thumping desks when Rahul Gandhi spoke of the death of mother India” (Bharat maa ki hatya ki baat karne wale kabhi bhi mez nahi thapthapate. Congressiyo ne baith kar maa ki hatya ke liye mez thapthapaai hai…).

She further added, that Manipur is not divided, it is an integral part of India.
