New Delhi: A video has surfaced across social media platforms of top Congress leader Rahul Gandhi dining at pizzeria. This video sparked speculation that he skipped the high-profile wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai, which was attended by various celebrities and prominent politicians including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Video surfaces on social media 

A user named Amockxi FC posted a video of Rahul Gandhi on X platform. He wrote "Every politician and actors are taking limelight in Ambani wedding Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi is having Pizza alone in local store. This man is built different." 

PM Modi attends Anant Ambani, Radhika Merchant's 'Shubh Aashirwad'

The event held at the Jio World Convention Centre, saw Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, the groom's parents, extend a warm welcome to PM Modi, escorting him to the stage. Prime Minister Narendra Modi graced the 'Shubh Aashirwad' ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai on Saturday, offering his blessings to the newlywedsT, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, showed their respect by touching his feet, receiving his heartfelt blessings.

PM  Modi visited Mumbai to inaugurate a few infrastructure projects valued at over ₹29,400 crores, encompassing advancements in roads, railways and ports on Saturday. 

Political Leaders Attend Ambani Wedding

Several political leaders were present at the Ambani wedding celebrations including Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, and Deputy CMs Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar. 

Akhilesh Yadav, the Samajwadi Party Chief and former CM of Uttar Pradesh also attended with his family. Lalu Prasad Yadav, the chief of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and former Chief Minister of Bihar, and Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal. 

Smriti Irani, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was present along with her husband and Abhishek Manu Singhvi, a leader of the Congress party was also seen walking the red carpet.
