As Assembly polls are underway in Telangana, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi commented on the BRS party losing the upcoming polls, on Thursday. Gandhi spoke on the downfall of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao-led party at a corner meeting on the way from Bhupalpally to Peddapalli during the Congress’ ongoing ‘Vijayabheri’ Yatra in the state.
The Congress leader said that the upcoming assembly polls in the state are a battle between the Dorala (feudal lords) Telangana and Prajala (people). “I feel that KCR is going to lose the elections. This is a fight between Dorala Telangana and Prajala Telangana…a fight between Raja and Praja,” he said.
While addressing the audience Rahul Gandhi also attacked the Telangana Chief Minister KCR for distancing himself from the people, even after being in power for almost a decade. He also called out on the government for following an autocratic system alleging that all the controls in the state are rested with one family only.
Commenting on the recent investigations conducted by ED on many political leaders, Rahul Gandhi said that the BJP government attacks all the opposition leaders and files cases using the ED, CBI, and Income Tax Departments, but KCR is spared.
