The Punjab Police has achieved a major success in the grenade attack on the house of BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia in Jalandhar. Punjab Police has arrested Saidul Amin from Delhi with the help of Delhi Police and central agencies. Saidul Amin, a resident of Amroha district of UP, is the main accused in the grenade attack. On the midnight of April 7, Saidul Amin hurled a grenade at the house of BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia. After this incident, Jalandhar Police took action and arrested 2 people.
Information about this has been shared with the social media handle of Punjab DGP. "Achieving a major breakthrough in the Jalandhar grenade attack case, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police, in collaboration with central agencies and Delhi Police, has successfully arrested , a resident of Amroha, UP, from Delhi," he wrote on X.
On the intervening night of April 7-8, some unidentified people hurled a grenade at the house of BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia. The police took swift action and arrested two accused within 12 hours. However, one of the accused escaped from the spot. The police were on the lookout for the third accused.
