Punjab Government Digital Library: CM Bhagwant Singh Mann's special digital library enhances education; What it means for students

On Independence Day, Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann inaugurated a new digital library in Isru village, honoring freedom fighter Shaheed Karnail Singh Isru, alongside plans for six additional libraries in each constituency to enhance educational resources for students.

Digital library: Punjab Digital Library: On the occasion of Independence Day, Punjab's CM Bhagwant Singh Mann presented a new digital library as a special gift for students. This library has been established in memory of Shaheed Karnail Singh Isru, a freedom fighter, in the village of Isru in the Khanna constituency. The Chief Minister also highlighted that several steps are being taken to improve the education sector in Punjab.

Tribute to Shaheed Karnail Singh Isru

The Chief Minister emphasized that Shaheed Master Karnail Singh Isru played a significant role in the liberation of Goa. This library is a tribute to his contributions. The facility has modern amenities to assist children in their educational pursuits.

New Libraries in Every Constituency Under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, six new libraries have been constructed in each constituency. As part of this initiative, libraries have been set up in 42 villages of Ludhiana district, benefiting students in those areas. Out of which 14 have been inaugurated. Educational Benefits for Children Chief Minister Mann mentioned that his primary goal is to bring improvements in the education sector. He pointed out that there is often a high demand for student admissions in government schools.

This new library provides a better learning environment for children. In cases where the home environment is not conducive to education, these libraries are proving to be highly beneficial. State-of-the-Art Facilities at the Library The library is equipped with all essential facilities for children. These include furniture, nearly 900 books, a 4-kilowatt solar power plant, CCTV cameras, 2 computers, 2 air conditioners, a water dispenser, and an electricity inverter. These resources are proving to be supportive in the children's educational progress.
