In a groundbreaking move, the Punjab government has launched a powerful anti-corruption helpline 9501200200 aimed at tackling corruption head-on. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has announced this initiative to provide a direct channel for citizens to report bribery and other corrupt practices, ensuring that their complaints reach the CM’s office promptly. This proactive approach demonstrates the government's zero-tolerance stance towards corruption, with a commitment to transparency and accountability.

How to Register Complaints

The newly established helpline allows people to report corruption-related issues via WhatsApp. Complaints can be submitted in the form of video or audio recordings, ensuring that the process is user-friendly and accessible to all. The government guarantees complete confidentiality for the complainants, with their identities being protected throughout the process.

The chief minister stressed that immediate and effective action would be taken upon receiving complaints. He emphasized that the time for inaction and tolerance of corrupt practices in Punjab is over. "If any government employee demands a bribe, simply record their video or audio and send it to us. We will ensure strict action," CM Mann stated.

The CM’s Message on Combating Corruption

In his statement, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann reiterated the government’s firm stand against corruption. He highlighted that the vast majority of government employees are honest, with only a small fraction indulging in corrupt practices. “99% of government employees are honest. We will not let the image of any honest officer be tarnished,” Mann assured.
