Arvind Kejriwal Arrest: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann expressed on Saturday that if Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is incarcerated, the party will seek legal recourse to establish his office in prison, enabling him to govern from there.

Mann emphasised that Kejriwal's role in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is irreplaceable, stating, "No one can take Kejriwal’s place in AAP because he created the party out of the anti-corruption movement."

Regarding BJP's demand for Kejriwal's resignation following his detention by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) until March 28, Mann highlighted that according to the law, Kejriwal can continue his governmental duties until proven guilty.

"We will seek permission from the Supreme Court, high court for setting up an office in the jail and the (Delhi) government will function," Mann affirmed.

Reflecting on AAP's structure, Mann emphasised equality within the party, stating, "There is no ranking in AAP. Everyone is a loyal soldier of Kejriwal."

Mann criticised BJP, accusing them of political vendetta and aiming to imprison opposition leaders to secure electoral victories. He cited examples from other countries and questioned the democratic essence of such actions.

Highlighting the incarceration of several AAP leaders, including Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, and Sanjay Singh, in money laundering cases, Mann stressed the need to protect democratic principles and the Constitution of India.
