Punjab News: Jaswinder Dhillon, a businessman from Attari (Tarn Taran) and an ardent supporter of the Aam Aadmi Party, has released a series of alarming videos pleading for help after receiving life-threatening demands from gangsters. Dhillon, who runs a Coca-Cola business, has been asked to pay a ransom of ₹50 lakhs, failing which his family will be killed. His life, as he describes it, has turned into a nightmare.

Public Appeal for Protection

The businessman has publicly urged the Punjab government, specifically Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, to intervene. Dhillon has also threatened to commit suicide if police do not take swift action to ensure his safety and that of his family. In his desperate appeal, he has asked authorities to take the threats seriously before it's too late.

Sukhpal Khaira sounds the alarm

Sukhpal Khaira, a senior Congress leader, amplified Dhillon’s message on social media, calling it a wake-up call for the Aam Aadmi Party government led by Bhagwant Mann. He tagged both Mann and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, urging them to tackle the increasing menace of gangster activity in Punjab and protect innocent citizens from extortion and violence.

A Wake-Up call for Punjab's governance

The situation has sparked widespread concern about the growing gangster-related crime in Punjab. Khaira emphasized that immediate action is necessary to prevent further tragedies and restore safety and peace in the region. He called this a "very loud wake-up signal" for the Punjab government to save the state from these criminals.

As Dhillon awaits a response from the authorities, his case has ignited a larger conversation about law and order in Punjab, with many questioning how the government will address the pressing issue of gangsters threatening civilians.
