Punjab & Sind Bank Vigilance Awareness Week: Punjab & Sind Bank’s Zonal Office in Noida is marking Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28 to November 3, promoting vigilance in banking for greater consumer security. On October 28, the Noida branch in Sector 63 organized a 2-km walkathon in the area, where PSB employees actively participated to spread awareness about vigilance and anti-corruption practices for banking customers.

Zonal Manager Mr. Mahesh Sabbarwal highlighted the significance of consumer vigilance in curbing corruption and enhancing accountability. "Vigilance Awareness Week 2022," observed from October 31 to November 6 under the theme Bhrashtachar Mukt Bharat - Viksit Bharat" (Corruption-Free India for a Developed Nation), serves as a reminder of the bank’s dedication to building a transparent and customer-centered banking environment.

Throughout the week, PSB is organizing a series of initiatives at various branches across the country to raise awareness:

  1. Promoting e-Integrity Pledge: Encouraging customers to take an online pledge for ethical banking practices.

  2. Preventive Vigilance and Housekeeping Activities: Ensuring thorough vigilance measures and promoting cleanliness within bank premises.

  3. Workshops and Sensitization Programs: Providing employees and stakeholders training on organizational policies and preventive vigilance practices.

  4. Grievance Redressal Camps: Offering customer support through dedicated grievance redressal activities.

  5. Vendor Meetings: Coordinating vendor interactions at the Head Office and zonal branches.

  6. Cultural and Interactive Activities: Hosting a range of events such as rangoli, essay writing, quizzes, slogan contests, walkathons, marathons, and street plays to further enhance vigilance awareness.

Various activities are being held to educate the public, customers, and staff on vigilance and anti-corruption. Photos and videos of the programs will be uploaded to the bank's website and Twitter account for broader outreach.
