Days after the Porsche car crash that sent shockwaves across the country, the Crime Branch has taken the mother of the minor accused into custody. Shivani Aggarwal, the mother, not only tampered with her son's blood sample but also replaced it. Upon the news breaking, Shivani went underground. The Pune Police have now located her. She arrived in Pune from Mumbai last night, and the formalities of the arrest will be completed soon.

Blood sample was changed with mother's

The police investigation has revealed that the blood sample of the intoxicated minor was substituted with his mother's blood sample. According to police sources, Shivani Aggarwal submitted her blood sample to Sassoon General Hospital in Pune, which was then swapped with her son's sample. It has come to light that the manipulation of the blood sample was orchestrated by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Srihari Halnor and his staff. Following this revelation, Dr. Halnor and Dr. Ajay Tawde have been arrested. Meanwhile, Shivani Aggarwal went into hiding after the arrests of these two doctors, and the police have been actively searching for her.

MLA appointed dean of the hospital

Dean of the hospital, Vinayak Kale, claims that Dr. Tawde, who changed the blood sample, was appointed after a recommendation from MLA Sunil Tingre. This appointment was approved by Medical Education Minister Hasan Mushrif. Despite being an accused in kidney transplant and drug cases, Dr. Tawde was made head of the Forensic Medical Department.

Didn't find alcohol in first blood sample

Police sources also revealed that before the minor's blood samples were collected, the minor's father Vishal Aggarwal had communicated with Dr. Tawde through WhatsApp, FaceTime, and general calls. There were a total of 14 calls between them, made between 8:30 AM and 10:40 AM on May 19. The blood samples were taken at 11:00 AM. The initial Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report did not find alcohol in the first blood sample. When this result was questioned, a second test was conducted at another hospital, where a DNA test revealed the blood samples belonged to two different people. This discrepancy led the police to suspect that the doctors at Sassoon Hospital had tampered with the evidence to protect the accused.
