New Delhi: In a tragic incident in Pune's Hadapsar area, a 47-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death after refusing to share his mobile hotspot connection with a group of strangers. The incident occurred late Sunday night, leaving the local community in shock.

The victim, identified as Vasudeo Ramchandra Kulkarni, was a loan agent by profession. According to the police, Kulkarni was approached by a group of youngsters who requested access to his mobile hotspot. When Kulkarni declined their request, the situation escalated into a heated argument.

During the altercation, Kulkarni allegedly slapped one of the suspects. This confrontation quickly turned violent, and in a shocking turn of events, one of the attackers stabbed Kulkarni. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot, prompting an immediate response from the local authorities. The police have since arrested one suspect and detained three minors in connection with the case.
